Designed to prevent large fleet vehicles and HGVs from damaging property or plant due to impact, open box beam is usually floor-mounted onto HDB spring steel buffers. A 5mm wall thickness on the beam ensures maximum strength whilst the profile design limits damage to vehicles. 1200mm post centres are recommended.
